Materials flow analysis for extraction and manufacturing

"Material flow analysis is a method to analyze the flows of a material in a well-defined system under study. It is considered as one important tool of industrial ecology along with instruments such as life cycle assessment or Design for Environment. The goal is to get a transparent understanding of the material flows, to calculate indicators and to develop strategies and measures for improving the material flow systems. Material Flow Analysis thus is the basis for a material flow management." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Material_flow_analysis)

For Aerated Concrete Masonry Units the main material is Portland Cement, besides that its water and sand. For this analysis we are just going to view the Portland Cement. Below is a flow chart for the Portland Cement material analysis.
