Optimal Value Engineered (OVE) Wood-Framed Wall

This type of wall system consists of a dimensional lumber wood frame, insulation, sheathing, and other components that enable it to serve as a structural exterior wall of a house.

While interior walls of structures can also be framed using OVE techniques, this analysis focuses specifically on exterior load-bearing walls that serve as an interface between the outside environment and the interior of the building.
