TEAM PURPOSE:
Vision
Construction is one of the most crucial industries in the world. Buildings supply humans with all the basic functions we need to survive. They shelter us, feed us, cloth us, and they provide many other daily functions. We have a vision to transform the construction culture into a more productive, efficient, and environmentally friendly industry.
Mission
As we work with our team now at Virginia Tech, we are striving to learn and build as a team. This early team building will help us shape the construction industry into what we would like it to be in the future.
Objectives
- To run meetings efficiently and in a timely manner.
- To delegate work to team members based upon individual skills.
- To work collaboratively to complete the assignments at hand.
- To minimize down-time and disagreements so that the team can be more time-efficient.
- To keep all team members motivated towards our common goals.

Decision Rules:
- Division of Work:
-Work will be fairly distributed to the individual most suited for the task.
- Decisions on Technical Approach:
-Decisions will be made on a majority basis after discussing the options and point-of-views
- Decision on Final Submittals:
-The team will decide when and how to turn in the final submittal based on the due date, team satisfaction level, and thoroughness.

Our team is comprised of individuals with construction experience varying from marine building to carpentry, corporate centers, and waterproofing. We plan to utilize each member's unique knowledge in order to accomplish the goals at hand. Our team members are hard-working and motivated. Our compatibility will prove to be invaluable throughout the term. We have the ability to pull information from various sources to benefit our work. Our team is looking forward to the future of the construction industry and hope to aid in forming it into the way we see a perfect industry.
