Hi, my name is Elizabeth Naehle and I'm a sophomore at Virginia Tech majoring in Building Construction. After growing up in Northern Virginia and Southern California, I came to VT not knowing exactly what I wanted to do in life. My older Hokie sister recommended Building Construction and it's worked out ever since. Over this past summer, I interned with Tricon Construction, an employee-owned subcontractor specializing in drywall, metal studs, and acoustical ceilings. My time there was nothing short of amazing, and certainly solidified my decision to continue along this path. I'm very excited about this coming academic year and the future in general, knowing that earning a BC degree will open doors that most others cannot.
