Currently I am a sophomore in the Building Construction department at Virginia Tech. My interest in becoming a construction major stems from my dad, who owns a metal erection company, Helm Building Enterprises, based in Salem, Virginia. Last summer I officially started working for his company, where I learned a lot more about the construction industry. In the future, I hope to either work as a developer or take over my dad's company.
