BC 2014: Construction Principles I

Austin Lintault

My name is Austin Lintault and I am currently a sophomore at Virginia Tech. I come to the table with a good bit of construction experience. My dad is a registered architect and construction manager so I have been around construction my whole life. The past two summers I have worked for Manhattan Construction Company in Atlanta, GA where I worked on two luxury, high rise apartment buildings. I learned an invaluable amount of information from these two jobs because I started as a laborer and then worked up to an internship in field engineering. My internship consisted of working in a team of 4 other individuals on a daily basis, so I feel that this will help me this year in class. I look forward to learning more about the construction industry and the teamwork that goes with it.
