Andrew Cook
Resume
Biosketch:
My name is Andrew Cook, and I am a junior at Virginia
Tech. During high school, I was a four
sport varsity athlete and was the captain for three of those sports, for
multiple years. While sports and
construction do not share too many similarities, I believe sports have helped
me to develop as an individual, a team member, and a leader, when the
opportunity arises. I have always been interested in construction. Since I was a little boy, I would help my dad
do various improvements around the house.
These experiences sparked my interest in the Building Construction major
offer by Virginia Tech. While I do not
have any experience working on a professional construction site, I have
experience working with tools and construction of minor projects around my
house. Despite the lack of experience, I
am eager to learn more and to excel as a construction professional.
