BIOSKETCH:

Hello, my name is Alexander Kassir and I am a junior in the Building Construction Department at Virginia Tech. I am able to draw from personal experience while working for construction companies that will be an asset to our team. I first grew interested in construction after a summer job working as a general laborer. There I learned the importance of hard work and working with others. In the following summers, I worked as a carpenter helper. I teamed up with carpenters to complete a certain task, all while learning the basics in framing and trim. Often times I worked with people that I did not particularly like, yet learned to overcome differences to complete a project. In a recent summer internship, I assisted project managers in helping with current projects and also the bidding process. I am a quick learner and will strive to understand new material that will help our team.

Please refer to my resume for more information.
