Aislinn Smith

My name is Aislinn Smith, I'm currently a Junior at Virginia Tech in my second year of Building Construction.  I have worked the past two summers for RT Dooley Construction in my hometown, Charlotte, NC.  I spent this past summer working on the Wachovia Corporate Center job site (picture below), where I was able to mix LEED Documentation for the project with studying for the LEED exam, which I passed this summer.  The  Corporate Center project is registered and on track to receive a Gold Certification from the USGBC.  I really enjoy working as part of a team, and I look forward to a good challenge every now and then.  I have made invaluable ties with many subcontractors in the Charlotte area, which will likely prove to be beneficial in my final years at Virginia Tech.
